Summer of Stargate Signup: Proving Ground Readers
This year, instead of offering authors cheerleader support, we’re looking for readers to preview author-selected snippets. You could be one of those readers!
Each participating author will post a snippet up to 5,000 words at the member’s onlysos_lounge and will list the kinds of comments they’re looking for—anything from general enthusiastic squee (to keep their energies up) to comments on characterization or plot (no line editing). All you have to do is read and comment.
You will not be required to read every selection posted, but please make sure you comment on everything you read. This is an opportunity for authors to receive feedback to help in drafting their work, along with a chance for you to preview the stories and help out an author. That warm fuzzy feeling you’ve been longing for? This is a way to get it.
